Neither Corsa or Borla get overly raspy. I personally like both systems, if you want Valves then obviously Borla is the way to go. I have the Corsa Xtreme with full X Pipe/no secondary cats and it's thunder from the gods on WOT but cruises quiet as stock and stays very tame below 50-60% throttle.
